This tone poem for concert band was originally inspired by an Associated Press science release Woodroof read in the newspaper. Harmonies largely

based on whole tone scale and interesting sonorities make this piece a concert band enigma. Read the brief prose introduction, and ask the audience to close their eyes and journey to some of the  strangest phenomenon in the universe.
